This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: Surfacing When I’ve have been down in the depths for a while the above is threatening Alone in the dark is a cozy place with my own thoughts and my own healing The water cradles me breath held for just a few minutes more Up there under a bright sky gravity is not my friend demands are heavy and plans for the future beyond my ability It is a brave moment then to leave the bottom kick off and bring my treasures back to solid ground The time to come up arrives when I feel my own strength and desire the light on my face once more I can take air lay in the sun and let the wind play a path forward When I have been below for a while that time comes and it is brave enough to simply surface

This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: With this painting, I released many of the things that I allowed to define me from the outside. I retained the memories as they are part of who I am. More than simply being a part of my story, I acknowledge they are part of who I am. They are part of the sum of experiences that have guided me to this moment. I shedded the shame and sadness and other negative energies attached to them, those things that other ascribed onto me and which I allowed to become part of my burden. I reclaimed the parts of me that I had banished and hidden away, all of those things deemed "too much." Instead of accepting that these things are wrong and shameful, which means that by extension I am wrong and shameful, I drew them in and welcomed them home with open arms. I can now provide them the care and nurturing they need and deserve. These are the things that not only define my but also that motivate me and inspire me. These are my reasons for being. These are my badges of honor. Lilith, the Legend Fiercely free and empowered, she strides through the universe Opening portals of creativity and joy. She came into this world reluctantly, As if she knew the obligations and hurdles and challenges She would be forced to confront. Obstinate and stubborn even before entry, She had to be forced into creation. She acknowledges her fears and uses them To spur her into the known and unknown. The road twists and turns, and she can’t see What is beyond, but the universe sees for her. She contains the universe, Bits of its wisdom are inside her, Waiting to be released. She speaks truth to power, And her breath powers life. When she speaks, She causes change, massive upheaval. Power disintegrates back to the (Dis)illusion it is. She embraces the fire of her anger. Her anger motivates her To cause change to happen, To speak out, To take action. She is the rule breaker, The rule won’t follower, The rule questioner. She demands to know who made the rules And why they got to decide. She sees the world differently and Knows this world isn’t the only one. She is a daughter of Gaia. The Earth grounds her even as It supports her and spurs her to do more. Her mantra is rock, tree, water. Her tools are the elements and Her connection to them. Earth, air, water, fire. Her joy are all the colors, which She uses generously, without hesitation, For color and abundance are freedom to her.

I summoned one deep breath enough to lift a foot then the other and under a turquoise sky I headed into blackness. Felt like morning I walked till I reached the company of free here I will make a new home just for NOW NOW is more important than it's ever been. Illuminated on Saturday was painted in discipleship to my inner child's imagination and our healing heart. I honor our untamed desire to remain curious while expanding wildly over land and sea.

The Australian 'Diva's' are deeply connected to Country, Spirit, and Mother Earth. This Diva "Weaves the Cosmos" and as a Social Statement She is a timely reminder that there must be more balance in the Patriarchal construction of existing, and future industry. The rusted pieces remind us that even machinery in industry will return to the Earth. The deep dive into our own personal 'Diva's consistently highlight our relationship to our Earth and our Universe.

This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: In the whispers of the wind and from those flowing with me, I hear and I feel a gentle call to release my fear. and ride the waves wherever they may lead. This was my very first Intentional Creativity class with MUSEA and first dive into medicine painting. It was deeply powerful and has led me on a rich journey over this past year through the process of Ritual, the member calls, an other classes with IC teacher Ally Markotich. I carry and I am being carried within one wave and on the edge of another. Here I am in one moment in time, but stopping is an illusion. Flowing, humming, vibrating with energy and matter, particle and wave - I am constantly moving yet it is only in the stillness that I can begin to grasp my magnitude.

This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: Sundial Mandala: Illuminating Consciousness The underpainting is painted with a sticky ball from the gumball tree, boiled as medicine water for the spray bottle for this canvas. This painting was born during the global shutdown of 2020. The lion’s mane remains a challenge, the wild mane of the lion expressing the winds of change. Untethered and chaotic the world turns inside out with an exposed level of unkindness and dis-ease of a no win-win game. It is confusing and I don’t quite know what to do with it. It is all over the place, seeking and searching. The dark winged one returns to the mysteries from the original painting. The Tree of Life in the elephant ears has actual elephant dung from Africa mixed in the paint for texture. In 2021, it guides me forward. The centaur representing the sacred wounds turned into medicine. The mane evolves into the Sundial Mandala to activate and illuminate consciousness. Poem: We must call forth, the unknown wisdom, the source force that is yet to be known. Our planet, our people, our way of living is in a massive need of shapeshifting from this pattern of being we have outgrown. The sundial mandala offers an activation to those drawn into the beams and rays. Uniting Spirit and Matter, calling forth medicine from our wounds and grounding this energy into form every day.

This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: I am the Sensual Sea is my Legendary Muse, great ancient spirit of the Ocean. Her consort and spirit guide is the octopus. in this depiction she presents herself as a twin tailed mermaid yet like the octopus she is a "shape shifter" who can travel between the worlds. In the ancient Hawaiian creation chant of 2012 lines, the octopus is born in the 8th era and is considered a divinity. From an analysis of the lines of the Kumulipo by two anthropologists it is interpreted that the octopus was the sole survivor of a previous era and was able to "escape" by squeezing through the world that was destroyed and into the new world, that was being birthed. A creature of extraordinary consciousness the octopus and this Sea Priestess travel together. Both are symbols of protection and mystical abilities who seemed to have arrived on my canvas at the perfect synchronistic time in this Covidian Era. They both have wisdom and vision from the world that is dissolving and the world that is being birthed. The Sea Priestess wears an oyster shell, symbol of the YONI at her throat chakra.

When I look at My Apothecary at this moment, I feel a relief. A relief that during this painting process Energy moved and some bad stories changed. Like the change in my tragedy expressed during the medicinepainting / Apothecary from 2020. It gives new balance again, and deep, there are still new perspectives, and possibilities in my life and I hope that other people can relief their heartfeelings too when they see what can happen in Nature, on Earth. I painted a little magical bowl, as a partial view of my 2020 Apothecary with the remedies resilience(feather), unconditional love from my husband( cup of coffee and a sunflower(as the power of love)). I painted further a gap in the world to remind me that life is not stuck when something bad happens. Even the dead oak stands firm after his tragedy. The elements of Nature influenced his life. Despite the tree is now a source for other life. Seeds are growing and insects are living in and on him. The dragonfly, who holds the threads of power, symbolizes for me the ability to overcome times of hardships and as a reminder to take time to reconnect with my own strength, courage, and happines in my life. The tropical soulbird, who spread love all over the world, is a Spirit, a Symbol for connection and freedom. ‘Reach out to others with intentional love’ She whispers. She knows what Love is and how important it is when it is unconditional. There are also butterflies ( transformation) and you see a caterpillar, some seeds and wildflowers. They all contribute to experience how beautiful Nature is, even there is imperfection. Keep looking, than you See they say. The over-arching theme for me is the ‘seeds of possibilities’. Therefor the seeds of Earth reach out to the Magic and return with magical dust. A power to change, to grow. In time we will see which challenges and opportunities Earth gives. I started it during the live Vivid class 5-7 November 21, and it is dedicated to the teachings of Sue Hoya Sellars as shared by Shiloh Sophia. One of the prompts that Shiloh shared with us over the weekend was to write a poem using "I come from" as the starting point. I began writing this poem just after adding my co-creator symbol to the canvas. And as I wrote, as I neared the bottom of the first page, I heard quite clearly. "No. Do not tell me where you come from. Tell me what you want to live into. The past has passed. Tell me what you want to co-create as you move forward into the future." And so, as I was asked, here is what I am living into... I Live into Love By Myrna Martin I live into love that creates home. I live into voices long silenced being heard and valued. I live into courageous self-expression I live into holding space for others to find their own answers and healing. I live into laughing so hard my belly hurts. I live into the pursuit of the Holy Yes! and following where it leads. I live into always having more than I need and sharing my abundance with others. I live into love that feels like home. I live into hot coffee accompanied by rich conversation. I live into holding hands as we walk side-by-side through life. I live into loving what needs to be healed into wholeness. This can be a poem or a few paragraphs: Meta Goddess She dances between worlds, Intentional Creativity, Musea 2021 This is my first intentional creativity painting. It has a simple form, the meta goddess, as she exists simultaneously, in the core of the planet earth, in the layers of gasses that make up our atmosphere, in the cosmos, and beyond- all at once changing state…gas into matter, and matter into star. Learning, and painting this, was a truly profound awakening. I will always treasure this painting as a magic door, an entry, the start of my ritual painting life….the following words were written back then, in the container of that ritual….I honour them, and the woman who took the chance to show up and paint. I Rise Up I rise up, from love and chaos. I rise up, from turning away from myself. I rise up, from global grandchildren. The following are statements made from the painting’s point of view… I Am She She, who knows creation intimately. She, who speaks art. She, who weaves her words from stardust-golden. So when I was working on my Talisman - the Artist painting in the Color Of Woman - Intentional Creativity Teacher Training in 2019, I was faced with intense emotions and resistance as well as amazing breakthroughs. It was an intense process. I had to let her rest while I continued with the other paintings included in the training. One morning, as the sun generously illuminated my studio, an amazing light wing appeared glowing out of her left eye. She was calling me and I was ready for her message of always standing for truth and unity and I was able to just follow the brush to complete her. Here is her message: "My name is Gloria. Step into the self that you are here to manifest whole-heartedly. Open all your senses to receive Universal knowledge, so waiting to inform you and be birthed into your amazing creations. You are powerful beyond measure, always remember that. Inner harmony will prevail and enlighten the cosmic portals generating a new kind of serene and spontaneous creativity.”
