This painting began as a class painting in an 'UnCoiling Diva' 2 Day Retreat held here in Studio. The Australian 'Diva's' are deeply connected to Country, Spirit, and Mother Earth. This Diva "Weaves the Cosmos" and as a Social Statement She is a timely reminder that there must be more balance in the Patriarchal construction of existing, and future industry. The rusted pieces remind us that even machinery in industry will return to the Earth. The deep dive into our own personal 'Diva's consistently highlight our relationship to our Earth and our Universe.
