This painting emerged as part of the Color of Woman Teacher Training Certification. She is my "Artist." She was the third painting I worked on as part of the training and she's of great significance to me because I had been very blocked with my first two paintings. In fact, I was close to giving up. However, after Shiloh Sophia walked us through the teachings for the Artist Archetype something shifted and became unblocked. I began to truly think of myself as an artist. Now whenever my inner critic starts to ramp up the volume, I just look at her and remind myself that Creativity is Truly My Birthright...as it is for all of us. I carry that deep in my bones now.
