From beyond the void,
She came forward
To bring the wisdom
The deep inner wisdom
that has always resided in this void.
From that creative fertile womb
She came bearing gifts
The cosmos in her hair dancing with delight
Her eyes ablaze with courage and determination
She emerges to gently lift me to my feet and
show me all that exists and is within
To dry my fearful tears and dust off scuffed knees
from disempowered servitude
Hearts beating as one and ancestral blood flowing strong
Weaving a new cloth to wear
full of stars, earth and dragonflies
A coat of dreams & hopes
Some new shiny boots for the journey ahead
Following a path of light.
